Final Fantasy VII Remake
A modern reimagining of one of the most iconic games of all time, Final Fantasy VII Remake harnesses the very latest technology to recreate and expand Square Enix's legendary RPG adventure for the current generation. Set in a post-industrial fantasy world that has fallen under the control of the shadowy Shinra Electric Power Company, take on the role of Cloud Strife - a mercenary and former member of Shinra's elite Soldier unit - and team up with anti-Shinra organization Avalanche as they step-up their resistance.

A gorgeous, bold reimagining that turns a few hours of the original into a full adventure.Kit · Sadkitty Games
Loved

- The cast gets real depth
Not so much
- Padded side quests and slow corridors
- Only covers the start of the original story

No cheat codes
Final Fantasy VII Remake doesn't have cheat codes. The tips and secrets below are the next best thing.
Play it better
- Equip Assess Materia early and scan every new enemy to learn how to pressure and stagger it.
- Pressure enemies to fill their stagger bar, then unload your biggest abilities while they're helpless.
- Switch characters often so everyone's ATB bars keep charging.
- Block a lot. Guarding cuts damage hard and builds ATB for Cloud.
- Spend weapon SP on the core upgrades first, then shape each weapon to a role.
- Pick Classic mode if you want menu-led combat where your character attacks on their own.
