Tips
Play it better
- High ground gives you advantage on ranged attacks, so climb before a fight starts.
- Shove is a bonus action. Pushing enemies off cliffs or into chasms ends fights instantly.
- Explosive barrels can be picked up and placed before combat; one fire bolt then clears a whole room.
- Long rest often. A lot of companion scenes and story beats only trigger at camp.
- Find Withers in the Dank Crypt early. He resurrects dead companions and lets you respec anyone for 100 gold.
- Cast Bless before tough fights; adding a d4 to attacks and saves for the whole party is huge in 5e.
- Throw healing potions at downed allies instead of walking over; it heals everyone in the splash.
