Tips
Play it better
- Feed, pat and brush your horse often. A higher bond unlocks moves like rearing and drifting, and makes your horse braver.
- Use the right weapon for the animal: small game needs a varmint rifle or small-game arrows, or the pelt is ruined.
- Buy the camp upgrade for Arthur's tent in the ledger early. It unlocks fast travel from camp.
- Craft better satchels from Pearson in camp. The Legend of the East satchel holds the most and is worth chasing.
- Clean your guns with gun oil now and then. Dirty guns lose damage and accuracy.
- Keep Arthur fed. Eating keeps his health, stamina and Dead Eye cores topped up, and his weight changes his stats.
