Loved
- Incredibly satisfying, punchy combat
- Great couch co-op on consoles
- Seasons give endless replay
Not so much
- Bright, cartoony tone split fans
- Shallow story and simplified character builds
Play it if players who want instant, smooth demon-slaying with friends.
Skip it if anyone who wants deep stat trees and a grim, gothic mood.
No cheat codes
Diablo III doesn't have cheat codes. The tips and secrets below are the next best thing.
Play it better
- Beat the campaign once to unlock Adventure Mode, where bounties and rifts are a much faster way to gear up.
- Kanai's Cube lets you extract a legendary item's power and use it without wearing the item.
- Push Greater Rifts to find out how strong your build really is and earn gem upgrades.
- Start a seasonal character each season; the free reward set from the season journey jump-starts a build.
- Paragon points are account-wide, so leveling one hero boosts all of them.
- Turn on elective mode in the options to put any skill on any button.
