Battlefield 6
After 2042 stumbled, Battlefield 6 is a return to fundamentals: four classic classes, squad play that matters, and tactical destruction that turns buildings into dynamic cover — or rubble. Big Conquest and Breakthrough matches feel like peak Battlefield again.
Gunplay is tight, vehicles matter, and the moment-to-moment chaos produces the only-in-Battlefield stories the series is famous for. Maps lean toward tighter urban spaces, which some veterans will miss.
The single-player campaign is generic and forgettable. Buy it for the multiplayer and treat the campaign as a tutorial.
Kit liked
- The class system is restored
- Destruction is back and meaningful
- Excellent gun feel and audio
- Large-scale modes deliver
Kit didn't
- A forgettable campaign
- Maps skew small for Battlefield
- Play your class. Resupplies, revives and repairs win more matches than kills.
- Use destruction. Blow open a new angle instead of pushing through a doorway.
- Stick with your squad. Spawning on teammates keeps you in the fight.
