A line-snake eats dots and grows longer until it crashes into a wall or itself. Preloaded on Nokia phones from 1997, it was many people's first mobile game.

Snake doesn't have cheat codes. The tips and secrets below are the next best thing.
Tips
Play it better
- When the snake gets long, sweep the board in a back-and-forth zigzag so you never trap yourself.
- Keep one side of the board open as an escape lane rather than chasing food straight on.
- Turn early around your own tail; the snake moves one square per tick and late turns are fatal.
- Higher speed settings give more points per bite, so practise there once you're comfortable.
