Resident Evil 2 is a remake of 1998's Resident Evil 2. The game was not developed with the intent of improving the original, but rather a reimagining of the original story with redesigned maps, characters and story elements. Gameplay mechanics are more similar to Resident Evil 7: Biohazard though with the use of an over-the-shoulder camera.

- Claire and Leon's campaigns overlap a lot
- The second run's story doesn't fully fit together

Tips
Play it better
- Shoot zombies in the legs to slow them and walk past rather than wasting ammo.
- Use boards on windows to stop zombies from breaking into hallways.
- Mr. X can't follow you into save rooms.
- Combine gunpowder for the right ammo type, not just whatever you're low on.
- On Hardcore, you need ink ribbons to save, so save sparingly.
