Lemmings is a puzzle-platform game developed by DMA Design and published by Psygnosis in 1991. Players guide a group of lemmings through hazardous levels to a designated exit. The gameplay involves assigning specific skills, such as digging or building, to overcome obstacles and avoid traps. Each level has a time limit and requires saving a minimum number of lemmings to progress. The game was released on multiple platforms and is regarded as a classic of the puzzle genre.

Lemmings doesn't have cheat codes. The tips and secrets below are the next best thing.
Tips
Play it better
- Use pause to plan. You can still scroll around the level and look before committing a single skill.
- Blockers stop the crowd so you can sort out the path ahead, but you'll have to nuke or dig them free to save them.
- Builders lay 12 steps of stairs. Click builder again just before they finish to keep a staircase going.
- Floaters let lemmings survive long falls, and climbers scale walls. Give one lemming both to make a scout.
- Speed up the release rate on easy stretches and slow it down when you need time to set things up.
- Count the minimum you need to save. You rarely need everyone, so sacrifice a few if it saves the rest.
