Single-player only. Cheats can turn off achievements and some saves; use them on a spare save.

1. Each lead has a special ability: Michael slows time while aiming, Franklin slows time while driving, and Trevor's rage cuts damage taken and boosts damage dealt. Use them in hard fights.
2. Save Lester's assassination missions until after the story ends, when all three characters have big bank balances to throw at the stock market.
3. Before each Lester hit, buy shares in the target's rival company, then sell once the price jumps. This is the fastest legit money in the game.
4. Cheap heist crew members level up when you use them and survive, so a cheap gunman who lives can become a bargain pro.
5. Look out for a random street robbery event where you can recruit Packie McReary, one of the best-value gunmen in the game.
6. Do the Flight School lessons at the airport early. Flying gets much easier and your flying skill rises fast.
