Tips
Play it better
- Put a smoke detector in every room with a stove or fireplace. Low-skill Sims set kitchens on fire.
- Promotions need friends as well as skills, so have your Sim call people and throw small parties.
- Build skills with bookshelves, chess sets and easels early, before your Sim has a job eating their day.
- Buy the best bed and fridge you can afford first. Sleep and hunger affect everything else.
- Hire a maid early if your Sims are slobs. Dirty houses wreck their mood.
