About the game

You build rockets from parts and fly them using real orbital physics, with little green Kerbals as your fearless crew. It's taught more people rocket science than most classrooms.

Kit's verdict · 9.2/10A comedy of explosions that secretly turns you into an amateur rocket scientist. Kit · Sadkitty Games

  • Hilarious failures
  • Huge sense of achievement

Not so much

  • Steep learning curve

Play it if curious minds who love learning by trial and error.

Cheats & codes

Every Kerbal Space Program cheat we know

Opens the debug menu, whose Cheats tab gives infinite fuel, no crash damage, unbreakable joints and more.PC · Press it during flight or in the space center.

Single-player only. Cheats can turn off achievements and some saves; use them on a spare save.

Tips

Play it better

  1. Start your gravity turn early: tilt a little east around 100 m/s and keep leaning as you climb.
  2. Kerbin's atmosphere ends at 70 km, so your apoapsis must be above that for a stable orbit.
  3. Use maneuver nodes to plan burns, and burn half before and half after the node.
  4. Struts fix wobbly rockets; add them between stacks and radial boosters.
  5. Always launch east to borrow speed from Kerbin's spin.
  6. Bring parachutes and test staging before you launch any crewed mission.
