Zone land, lay roads and pipes, balance budgets and watch a city grow in isometric 3D. It took the original SimCity and added terrain, water, underground layers, newspapers and futuristic arcologies.

The sweet spot of city builders: deep enough to obsess over, simple enough to start in seconds.Kit · Sadkitty Games
Loved
- Charming isometric look and great music
- Satisfying depth with water, transit and ordinances
- Funny newspapers and disasters
Not so much
- Advisors and menus feel clunky
- Mid-game can become budget micromanagement
Play it if planners, tinkerers and anyone who likes watching a system grow.
Skip it if players who want goals, stories or action.

Tips
Play it better
- Start with a coal or gas power plant, small zones of residential, commercial and industrial, and connect it all with roads and power lines.
- Keep industry away from homes. Pollution drags down land value.
- Water pipes and pumps arrive early. Lay pipes under your zones to help them grow denser.
- Raise taxes a point or two at a time. Big jumps drive people away fast.
- Ordinances like legalized gambling or a neighbourhood watch can tweak income and crime cheaply.
- Build schools and colleges for an educated workforce, which unlocks cleaner, high-tech industry.
- Replace power plants before they wear out at 50 years, or they can explode.
