Tips & secrets
About the game

A first-person factory builder where you lay conveyor belts, power grids and giant production lines across a lush alien planet for the faceless FICSIT corporation. It's automation you can walk through and admire.

Kit's verdict · 8.8/10Building towering 3D factories is a pure joy, and it will eat every weekend you own. Kit · Sadkitty Games

Loved

  • Gorgeous world worth building in
  • Deeply satisfying automation loop
  • Great in co-op

Not so much

  • Late-game production chains take huge time
  • Planning big factories in 3D gets messy

Play it if builders and tinkerers who love making things run perfectly.

Skip it if players who want a story or combat.

Cheats & codes

No cheat codes

Satisfactory doesn't have cheat codes. The tips and secrets below are the next best thing.

Tips

Play it better

  1. Leave room to expand; every factory ends up three times bigger than you planned.
  2. Build on foundations to keep floors level and machines lined up.
  3. Upgrade belts and miners together, since faster miners are useless on slow belts.
  4. Build more power than you need; one overload trips the whole grid.
  5. Use the resource scanner to find ore, and put miners on Pure nodes first.
  6. Hunt drop pods for hard drives, which unlock alternate recipes that change everything.
