You build and run theme parks, from designing coasters track piece by track piece to setting the price of fries. It was a giant hit and is still the benchmark for theme park sims.
Kit's verdict · 9.0/10
The theme park sim that got it right the first time, and the details still delight.Kit · Sadkitty Games
Loved
- Deep coaster design tools
- Charming guests with thoughts you can read
- Addictive scenario goals
Not so much
- Interface feels clunky today
- Low resolution on modern screens without fan fixes
Play it if builders and tinkerers who love watching a park run.
Skip it if players who want action or a story.

Tips
Play it better
- Test every new coaster before opening it, and check its Excitement, Intensity and Nausea ratings.
- Place food stalls near ride exits, and put toilets and benches along main paths.
- Hire handymen and give them small patrol areas so paths stay clean.
- Raise ride prices slowly on popular rides. Guests will pay more for high-excitement coasters.
- Put a mechanic near each big coaster so breakdowns get fixed fast.
