About the game

Leon Kennedy is sent to rural Spain to rescue the president's daughter and finds a village of crazed, infected locals. Its over-the-shoulder aiming reinvented the action game and made it one of the most influential titles ever.

Kit's verdict · 9.7/10Near-perfect action horror that never runs out of ideas. Kit · Sadkitty Games

Loved

  • Nonstop stream of memorable set pieces
  • Rewarding upgrades and economy

Not so much

  • Can't move while aiming

Tips

Play it better

  1. Shoot enemies in the leg or head to stagger them, then run up and kick to knock back the whole crowd.
  2. Sell treasures to the Merchant and combine gems into their settings first, because combos are worth much more.
  3. Buy the exclusive upgrade for a weapon, since it changes how strong it is dramatically.
  4. Keep your attache case tidy by rotating items to fit more.
  5. Break crates and barrels with the knife to save ammo.
  6. Tell Ashley to hide in dumpsters during big fights so she stays safe.
