Tips & secrets
About the game

An open-world survival crafting game where you catch creatures called Pals and put them to work, fight with them or ride them. Its 'Pokemon with guns' hook made it one of the fastest-selling games ever.

Kit's verdict · 7.0/10A shameless, scrappy mash-up that's far more fun than it has any right to be. Kit · Sadkitty Games

Not so much

  • Derivative creature designs
  • Rough edges and bugs everywhere

Play it if survival fans who like collecting creatures and automating bases.

Tips

Play it better

  1. Check each Pal's work suitability before you assign it to your base.
  2. Collect Lifmunk Effigies and offer them at the Statue of Power to raise your capture rate.
  3. Feed your base with a Feed Box stocked with berries early, or your Pals will starve and slow down.
  4. Unlock Fast Travel statues as you explore; they save huge amounts of time.
  5. Get a glider early, since it makes crossing the map far easier.
  6. Weaken a Pal and hit it from behind for better capture odds.
