About the game

From the makers of FTL, Into the Breach is a turn-based tactics game on an 8x8 grid where giant mechs fight alien bugs. Every enemy attack is shown in advance, so each turn becomes a perfect little puzzle.

Cheats & codes

No cheat codes

Into the Breach doesn't have cheat codes. The tips and secrets below are the next best thing.

Tips

Play it better

  1. Protecting buildings matters more than killing enemies, since Grid Power is your life bar.
  2. Push Vek into each other, into water or onto other enemies' attack paths to make them hurt themselves.
  3. Block emerging Vek by standing on the spawn tile, at the cost of 1 damage.
  4. Islands can be done in any order, and you only need two to reach the finale.
  5. Spend reputation on Grid Power or pilot upgrades, not just new weapons.
  6. Time Pods often hold pilots, so pick them up before the turn timer ends.
