Tips
Play it better
- Cast Revelio constantly. It reveals Field Guide pages, chests and puzzles, and the pages give easy XP.
- Merlin Trials expand your gear inventory, so do them early. Many need Mallowsweet leaves, which you can buy or grow.
- Talent points unlock at level 5; Spell Knowledge and the Dark Arts tree are strong picks.
- Map four spells to quick slots and swap sets with the D-pad; cycling sets mid-combo is how you break shields fast.
- The Room of Requirement lets you grow plants and brew potions for free, which saves a fortune.
- Rescue beasts in the wild and breed them in your Vivarium for upgrade materials.
