Cheats & codes
No cheat codes
Frostpunk doesn't have cheat codes. The tips and secrets below are the next best thing.
Tips
Play it better
- Build Heaters and Steam Hubs early, as cold sickness spreads fast once temperatures crash.
- Get a Beacon up and send scouts out quickly, since survivors and resources on the map are your best boost.
- Sign the Child Labour or Child Shelters law early; shelters are slower but avoid discontent and injuries.
- Keep a coal stockpile far bigger than you think you need before any big temperature drop.
- Overdrive the generator only in short bursts, or it will explode.
- Watch Hope and Discontent equally, as either one hitting its limit ends the run.
