Prince Noctis and his three best friends set out on a road trip in a classic car that turns into a war for the fate of the world. It's an open-world action RPG built around brotherhood, camping and photos as much as monsters.

Loved
- The four friends' bond is genuinely touching
- Open world is lovely to drive and camp in
- Warp-strike combat feels great
Not so much
- Story jumps and gaps make the plot hard to follow
- Linear later chapters feel unfinished
Play it if players who love buddy stories and open-world exploration.
Skip it if anyone who wants a tightly told Final Fantasy story.

Final Fantasy XV doesn't have cheat codes. The tips and secrets below are the next best thing.
Tips
Play it better
- XP is only banked when you rest. Inns and hotels multiply XP, so save big gains for the fancier stays.
- Ignis's meals give strong buffs for the next day. Collect ingredients and recipes everywhere.
- Warp-strike from distance does more damage, and warping to high points refills your MP quickly.
- Attacks from behind (blindsides) and link strikes with friends deal huge damage.
- Buy the Regalia upgrades and fill up at gas stations; running out of fuel means walking or a tow.
- Do the hunts at diners for steady money and good item rewards.
