Single-player only. Cheats can turn off achievements and some saves; use them on a spare save.

1. Last-hit enemy creeps for gold and deny your own creeps so the enemy gets less experience.
2. Always carry a Town Portal Scroll. It lets you save a tower or escape a gank.
3. Supports should buy Observer and Sentry Wards; vision wins fights before they start.
4. Use Demo Hero mode to test any hero's skills and items for free before playing them.
5. Play Turbo mode to learn heroes and items faster with shorter, lower-stakes games.
6. Roshan drops the Aegis, which revives its holder once. Taking him at the right time often decides the game.
7. Don't walk into unwarded fog alone in the mid and late game. That's how most games are thrown.
