Tips

Play it better

  1. Never leave villagers idle; the period key cycles to idle villagers.
  2. Learn one standard build order, like a scouts or archers opening, and stick to it until it's automatic.
  3. Keep your Town Center producing villagers nonstop until at least the Castle Age.
  4. Send your scout out early to find sheep, boar, gold and the enemy base.
  5. Garrison villagers in the Town Center to make it fire extra arrows at raiders.
  6. Counter units on purpose: spearmen beat cavalry, archers beat spearmen, and skirmishers beat archers.
