Loved
- Precise, rewarding gunplay
- Agents add tactics without drowning skill
- Strong anti-cheat on PC
Not so much
- Kernel-level anti-cheat bothers some players
- Premium skins are very expensive
Play it if tactical shooter fans who want abilities and a clean, modern presentation.
Skip it if players who want fast respawns or hate long competitive matches.
Cheats & codes
No cheat codes
Valorant doesn't have cheat codes. The tips and secrets below are the next best thing.
Tips
Play it better
- Come to a full stop before firing; running shots are wildly inaccurate.
- Use your abilities to clear corners and take space; utility is meant to be spent every round.
- Buy as a team. A coordinated save round sets up a strong full buy next round.
- Warm up in the Range before ranked games to sharpen your flicks and spray control.
- Collect ultimate orbs on the map when it's safe; each one gives a point toward your ultimate.
- Hold angles from unexpected spots rather than the obvious ones everyone pre-aims.
- Learn one or two agents per role so you can fill whatever your team needs.
