A social deduction party game where crewmates do chores on a spaceship while hidden impostors sabotage and murder them. It sat unnoticed for two years, then became the game everyone played in 2020.

Loved
- Easy for anyone to learn in two minutes
- Brilliant tension and hilarious arguments
- Free on mobile, cross-play everywhere
Not so much
- Random public lobbies can be miserable
- Little to do once the novelty fades with a stale group
Play it if friend groups who love bluffing, accusing and voice chat chaos.
Skip it if solo players or anyone who hates confrontation.

Among Us doesn't have cheat codes. The tips and secrets below are the next best thing.
Tips
Play it better
- As crewmate, do your visual tasks (Medbay scan, Asteroids, Empty Garbage) in front of others. They prove you're innocent when the host has visual tasks on.
- Use the Admin table to see how many people are in each room, and Security to watch cameras.
- On maps with Vitals, check them right after a kill to see who just died and roughly when.
- As impostor, fake tasks for a realistic length of time, and don't vent where anyone could see you.
- Sabotage the lights before a kill so crewmates lose their vision, or sabotage doors to trap a victim.
- Dead crewmates should keep doing tasks as ghosts. Finishing all tasks still wins the game.
